Blue Sky Fibers Techno Yarn
68% baby alpaca
10% extra fine merino
22% silk
A modern take on 1970’s neon and natural, the line includes seven groovy pop colors perfectly balanced with six granola-lover neutrals.
Modern technology makes Techno a feather-weight genius: baby alpaca is blown into a mesh tube of silk for really fast knitting with literally no splitting.

Wear On Earth used this no-snag, no-splitting-fast-knitting yarn to create the slouchy hat you see in the image here.
Super warm and oh, so very soft! P.S. we used a size US 7 needle and the yarn responded beautifully.

Weight: 50 grams Approx: 120 yards / 109 meters
Needle Size: 10.5 US / 6.5 mm
Gauge: 3-5 sts/inch or 2.5 cm * A suggested gauge only. Works beautifully with large or small needles.

Hand wash or dry clean. Wash in tepid water using a mild soap. Do not agitate or twist. Shape and dry flat on a towel. Store your little treasure neatly folded, after all, it may be a family heirloom.

Note: In 2016 Blue Sky Alpacas renamed their company to Blue Sky Fibers. Rest assured, same owners, same beautiful fibers. Now producing beautiful wool as well as alpaca, their new name encompasses their expanded fiber production.

This yarn knits up so nice.  The silk tube prevents splitting and the warmth of the alpaca and extra fine merino is extraordinary!
