It knits up quickly whether you choose to make it in one seamless piece or in two pieces to sew together. Sizes: Two sizes, sm/med and large. Yarn Requirements: Approximately 580 (670) yards of a heavy worsted weight yarn that will knit at 4 stitches = 1". 140 (160) yards of contrast color in a lighter worsted or DK weight for collar. Suggested Yarns: 8 or 10 ply wool. Self-striping yarn would make up beautifully in this pattern.
