Lopi Einband Iceland Wool
Single-ply 100% Icelandic wool fingering weight yarn from Iceland, imported to the US by Westminster Fibers.
Known as “eingirni” in Iceland.

Unlike other Lopi yarns, this is spun only from the undercoat, so it softens significantly after washing.

Note: Projects made from Einband stretch and are therefore difficult to measure until they have been washed. Be sure to check your gauge before and after blocking

A gauge swatch in the intended pattern, washed and dried, is absolutely required.
Gauge: 15 to 30 sts = 4 inches
Gauge: 30 sts to 10 cm (4 ") across St st using size US 1
Gauge: 17 sts to 10 cm (4") over St st using size US 6
Gauge: 15 sts to 10 cm (4 ") across Sts using size US 10
Needles: US Size 1.5 (2.5mm) to US Size 10 (6 mm)

As is true of most lace weight, gauge and needle size will vary with the project.
