Take scarf knitting to a new level. Create an extravagant-looking boa using just bits of yarn. It’s pure glamour! Design note: Bits and pieces of your favorite yarns surround you in a swirl of fluff that’s just great fun. The scarf uses a rag, or what the designer calls a “Diva Stitch,” to create fringe on the surface. A “sticky” yarn like mohair, knit tighter than usual, holds the fringe in place. The open-pattern stitch in between keeps it airy and fluid.

Materials:

Yarn – About 100 yards of mohair for knitting, plus bits and pieces of anything for fringe

Needles – US Size 6 (4.0 mm) of your choice

Gauge: Approximately 5 sts/inch in garter stitch

Finished Measurements: 2-3” wide x 70” long
