You can change yarns, colors, ear style and tail length to customize your pup. Finished Size: 10" to 12" high at head and 11" to 13" long. Suggested Yarns: 10ply Temptation for the "fur" if desired. Yarn Requirements: Choose a worsted weight yarn that will felt easily and firmly and a coordinating furry novelty yarn to hold along with it. The novelty yarn is not expected to felt. Yardage: Approx 200 yds (183m) each of the main color wool and the coordinating furry novelty yarn. Note: The novelty yarn is not required if you want your dog to be "short-haired". If you wish to use a contrasting color for paws, you will need about 25 yds (23m) of contrast. Needles: Straight or circular knitting needles and set of double pointed needles, all in US size 10.5 (6.5mm). Use size 11 (8mm) for heavier weight yarns. Gauge: (Approx, before felting) 10 sts = 4" (10cm) in garter stitch.
