Hand Jive Knits

This elegant shawl uses a lovely centuries-old Spanish pattern called Madeira Mesh. It is worked from the top center neck and so it is easy to make it as large or as small as you want.

Materials:

Yarn – 780 yds fingering weight yarn

Needles – US Size 10 (6 mm) circular needles

tapestry needle

Gauge: Approximately 4 stitches/inch worked in Garter Stitch with size 10 (6 mm) needles and blocked well.

Finished size: Approximately 78" at top edge and 40" in length at center point

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate
